The recent weekend International Conference conducted in July in Valencia, Spain was an Excellent example of Mutual Cooperation and focused Successful Efforts to project the Teachings of Jigoro Kano Shihan and Martial Arts...
On Friday, sensei from multiple countries from Europe and Panamerica came together to highlite the Teaching of Jigoro Kano, the Founder of Kodokan Judo.
The foundation of Kano Shihan training, his philosophy, his accomplishments, his position on Judo as a martial art vs sport and many other topics were presented and discussed during this conference...
On Saturday, training by multiple sensei occurred throughout the day giving the participants the opportunity to learn skills from several martial arts. Training was conducted from 10 AM thru 7 PM.. After the day of training, an superb demonstarion of Kenjutsu and Taiko Drums was presented... That evening, a Grand Banquet was enjoyed with many awards were presented to the sensei and officials of the weekend conference..
On Sunday, examinations were conducted to prespective student candidates. After the completion of the examinations and demonstrations of skills, trchniques and kata there were various rank certifications awarded to the participants..
It was a weekend of grand proportions with sharing knowledge, teaching skills. training and examinations with Wonderful Fellowship for All..!!
