Started judo class 1955 in Southern California under Sensei Seigoro Murakami, 8 th dan and his son, Roy Murakami. In our family, his grandfather, father, himself, his son and his granddaughters who are 5 th generation judokas. After retirements, he has had an opportunity to return to his original company to work (at 65 years old) and he was sent to work in China’s nuclear energy projects in Shanghai China. While he was there, he had an opportunity to participate in “Xijiao Judo School as a visiting instructor in 2007/2008.
