Evilázio Feitoza is Grand Master of Muay Thai, the maximum ranking of the sport. To reach this rank it took him over 40 years of practice without stopping, with the goal to contribute with the development of the sport in Brazil. Evilázio travels the world promoting Muay Thai and when he is at a gym in any country or city that he is visiting, his focus is to guide each practitioner, whether professional or beginner. He also acts as a consultant, speaker, trainer, and promoter of Muai Thai in South America and throughout Europe.
At the age of 58, Grand Master Feitoza is considered the precursor of Martial Arts in Ceará, Brazil., he is a global reference and holder of one of the highest ranks of the sport with the 15th Khan (Grand Master) of Muay Thai, Black Belt 8th Dan in Kickboxing, 5th Dan in full contact and, as a competitor, was five times Brazilian kickboxing champion (1983-1987). He states that his mission is to reveal new talents on the sport he loves. Even with this vast experience in martial arts, the Grand Master accepted another challenge to promote Muay Thai, moving to the US where he lives in New York. Even though GM Feitoza lives and works in the US, he still has representatives in Brazil, spread in the states of Ceara (Fortaleza and Cariri), Paraiba and Sao Paulo.
Evilázio Feitoza was Born in Sobral, 230 km from Fortaleza, Evilazio Feitoza began training Shotokan Karate at the age of 7 and at the age of 14 moved to the city of São Paulo, where he began his practice of Kung-Do-Te, Full Contact with the Portuguese master based in Brazil, Adriano Silva, and perfected his techniques with world boxing champion Miguel de Oliveira and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with the renowned Black Belt Marcelo Behring. When GM Feitoza returns to the city of Fortaleza after years of battles in São Paulo begins to effectively build his legacy, acting in great academies, clubs and colleges in Fortaleza – until in 1998 inaugurates in Fighter Sport Academy being a reference gym in the fitness segment and fights – revealing for 17 years great athletes and teachers that today continue work throughout the world.
GM Feitoza was a promotor at the Cearense Championship Kick Boxing, North-Northeast Championship Kick Boxing, Badboy Rider Fight, Cearense Circuit MMA and Thai Boxing, Super Badboy Fight, Champions Night (17 editions), Hunter Cup, Cearense Championship Muay Thai, Jungle Fight Qualifying, New Talent Fight, among other events. In addition to these events in Ceará the Grand Master also promoted several events in São Paulo, suchlike Brazilian Championship Kick Boxing 1993 (São Paulo), Interstate League of Kick Boxing 1993 (São Paulo), Intercontinental Championship Kick Boxing 1994 (São Paulo), South American Championship Kick Boxing 1995 (São Paulo), Brazil Open Kick Boxing 1995 (São Paulo). It is noteworthy to mention that in the event had the participation of the today renowned athletes like Wanderley Silva, José Pelé Landi, and Rafael Cordeiro.

As a competitor Evilázio maintain an enviable track record: Five-time Brazilian champion (1983-1987) with a record of 37 fights, with 35 victories. In 1987 Evilazio returns to Ceara where he implemented full contact fights in the state (Muay Thai, Kick Boxing, MMA).

In his work as a coach, he has revealed to the world several high-performance athletes, including Thiago “Pitbull” Alves, (now UFC fighter), Paulo Guerreiro, Andrezinho Nogueira, Junior Killer and Antonio Samuray addition to have worked with names like Jorge Patino “Macaco”, James Adler, Ricardo Freire, Gabriel Gonzaga and Assuério Silva, among others.

Recently GM Feitoza participated in a series of lectures and graduations in the state of Ceará. This event which was held by Fighter Sport Gym with support from the Cearense Federation of Muay Thai and which featured the massive presence of martial arts lovers. It was a success between the public and through the media!
