Felipe Polanco was born and raised in Haverstraw, NY. Felipe began his athletic training in 8th grade as part of the Haverstraw Middle School track team. He continued his training with the high school track team and also joined the North Rockland High School football team, earning the starting wide receiver role his senior year.
After being accepted to Fairfield University, Felipe decided to focus on his studies but his love for sports was never too far behind. He joined various intramural teams where he learned to play soccer. However, his martial arts career didn’t start until much later.
Felipe met Sensei Stephen Moliterno in 2007 and has been training in Kihen-Ryu JuJitsu, United States Traditional Kodokan Judo and USA GoJu Karate ever since. Felipe is married to his loving wife, Chelsea, and has one daughter, Mariana.
Felipe currently holds the rank of Shodan in JuJitsu, Judo and Karate.
