Jayme Kiraly

Jayme Kiraly began her studies in martial arts in 1982 at the age of 5 under Senseis Mose and Mike Woodson at the Denton Junior Optimist Judo Club in Denton, TX. She has studied under many judo Senseis that have been instrumental in her development as a judoka and teacher including, but not limited to Bob Perez (Texas A&M Judo), Tommy Dyer and Roger Jackson (Ft. Worth Judo), Martin Bregman (Bushido Judo), Doug Newcomer and Barry Howell (Denton Junior Optimist Judo).
She retired from competitive shiai in 2021 with the biggest highlight being a bronze medal representing the USA at the Festival Olimpico Mexicano in 2000 in the category U57kg. She achieved the rank of Shodan in 2000 and currently holds the rank of Nidan.
In 1999, she began to diversify her study of jujutsu forms and enhance her judo by adding Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu cross training to her Judo studies. In 2015, Mrs. Kiraly briefly studied the striking art of Shorin Ryu Karate under Mike Woodson to further expand her abilities as a martial artist.
In 2021, Mrs. Kiraly again began studying striking arts as a way to round out her martial arts skills with American Kempo Karate under Robert Margach (Red Tiger Karate).
In 2022, Jayme began a rigorous program under senseis Jim Webb and Nicolas Valcik to tie her various jujutsu skills together with Heike-Ryu Jujitsu.
