GM Joe Parker began training in 1973 in various martial arts while attending college. He has trained with some of the Best in the World.
He was promoted to GM by Jeet Kune Do Legend Richard Bustillo in 2013 and GM 9th Dan “Cacoy” Doce Pares Eskrima in 2013. GM Parker also holds a 7th Dan in Combat Kempo Jiu-jitsu, Black Belts in Goju, Modern Arnis and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as well as a Kru in Mauy Thai.
For many years he ran the Battle At The Shore Tournament focusing on Eskrima, Kickboxing and BJJ.
Mr Parker is the Founder of Modern Fighting Concepts and teaches daily at his Academy in Absecon, NJ.
