Robert Moliterno was born and raised in New Rochelle, NY. Robert began his training in the martial arts at the very young age of 4, where he studied Judo under Rokudan Sauvuer Chris Soriano at the Westchester Judo Academy until the age of 11.
During Roberts time at Westchester Judo Academy, he was the NYS Judo Junior Olympic Champion from ages 7 – 10. Along with Robert’s Judo classes, he also began training in Kihen Ryu JuJitsu under his father and instructor, Sandan Stephen Moliterno. Robert’s interest in the martial arts led him into observing, cleaning the mat, performing break falls and learning tai sabaki in his father’s adult JuJitsu/Judo/USA GoJu Karate classes.
At the age of 6 Robert also began playing ice hockey. Throughout his career, Robert has played AAA hockey for several organizations where he held captain positions on the team; played 4 years of high school hockey where he was promoted to the Varsity Level as a Sophomore through Senior Year and captain all three years; played Junior Hockey for 3 years and is currently on route to play collegiate hockey.
Robert continues to train consistently in Kihen Ryu JuJitsu, United States Traditional Kodokan Judo and USA GoJu Karate while juggling his extremely demanding hockey schedule.
Robert currently holds the rank of Shodan in JuJitsu, Judo and Karate.
